I am a trained scientist, passionate advocate and communicator. After two years of leading a national advocacy campaign to increase funding for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in Canada, I now work full time in supporting other scientists to engage in the science policy process. I am passionate about cultivating a public demand for science and evidence-informed decision making.

Evidence for Democracy (E4D) is the leading non-partisan, not-for-profit organization championing evidence in government decision-making in Canada. Through original research, skills training, and advocacy campaigns, we foster public demand for transparent and evidence-informed policy-making. By equipping the science community with tools and knowledge, we empower them to take an active role in democracy and bridge the gap between science and policy.
